Recently, I led the development of a major enhancement to our onboarding process. Growers can now sign up directly on the FarmCommand platform – no need to wait for a representative! This means a faster, more convenient experience, getting the growers access to powerful farm management tools with minimal hassle. Our goal? To get the growers up and running quickly so they can focus on what matters most – their farms.
💳 Seamless Service Activation with Integrated Payments
Alongside the new signup, we’ve integrated a secure payment gateway. This allows for immediate activation of necessary services as growers register, creating a truly seamless and efficient onboarding journey from start to finish.
🌍 Supporting Climate-Smart Agriculture with the National Sorghum Producers (NSP)
This update comes at a pivotal time. Farmers Edge has proudly partnered with the National Sorghum Producers (NSP) in the USA. This collaboration is focused on supporting sorghum growers participating in the NSP’s Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities (PCSC) program, funded by the USDA.

Through FarmCommand, NSP growers can effortlessly capture, manage, and verify essential on-farm data. This includes crucial metrics for Carbon Intensity (CI) scoring, which measures the carbon emissions associated with crop production. Lower CI scores are increasingly valuable, helping growers align with broader environmental goals and potentially opening doors to new market opportunities and revenue streams for their sustainable practices. FarmCommand provides the tools to monitor and improve CI scores, helping to solidify sorghum as a climate-smart commodity and bolster the long-term financial health of farms.
