Passed the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Exam with 96%! π
Happy to announce that I have successfully passed the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam with a score of 96%! π
Background
During my time at ChainSafe Systems, I had the opportunity to work extensively within the Kubernetes ecosystem β automating the deployment of a large number of different types of blockchain nodes using tools like Helm charts. That hands-on experience sparked a deeper curiosity, and I recently decided to formalize and sharpen that knowledge through this certification.
What I Reinforced
Kubernetes application development gives us a powerful foundation for understanding scalable and secure system design. Through this journey, Iβve reinforced and deepened my understanding of:
- π¦ Container Development, Deployment, and Release management
- βοΈ Auto Scaling and Resource management
- π§ ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Configuration management
- π Services, Ingress, and Network Policies
- π RBAC and Security Contexts
- π©Ί Probes, Logging, and Debugging strategies
- π Persistent Volumes and Storage management
The Exam Experience
The hands-on, performance-based nature of this exam was truly enjoyable β especially the debugging scenarios that test real-world troubleshooting skills. It was a great way to resharpen my Kubernetes knowledge base, and Iβm confident it will be valuable for my current and upcoming projects.
Kubernetes adoption is now mainstream across industries, and investing in this skill set continues to pay dividends for building resilient, cloud-native applications. π
Thanks to Corvian for sponsoring the certification and supporting my continuous growth journey π
Looking forward to applying these capabilities to build and manage even more robust, scalable systems!
